Jim Gillingham, CFP®

Born and raised in the NW, Jim Gillingham is the youngest of six children.

After earning All-American honors in swimming, Jim served in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Okinawa and the Philippines as a Marine Corps artillery officer. Teaching and coaching on Mercer Island followed.

In 2001, Jim left teaching to help lead and educate others in the world of wealth building and preservation. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional credential in 2010. He and his wife of 30 years are currently living the dream after seeing both of their children off to college. He enjoys home improvement, woodworking and rowing with a masters team.
